I. Raw Material Selection and Process Control 

The performance of high-strength polypropylene filament primarily depends on the combination of raw materials and the spinning process. 

Raw material selection: Select polypropylene pellets suitable for high-strength spinning. After different batch numbers of raw materials arrive at the factory, a small sample spinning test is conducted first to confirm the stability of the processability. Then, they are put into production. 

Stretching process matching: Based on the target fineness (denier) and strength requirements, adjust parameters such as stretching ratio and heat setting temperature. We do not apply a "one-size-fits-all" process; instead, we set them according to the specifications respectively. 

Online monitoring: During the spinning process, continuous tracking of indicators such as tension and elongation rate is conducted. Any fluctuations are promptly adjusted. 

It should be noted that the requirements for strength vary depending on the application. For the specifications used in webbing and safety ropes, we will take into account both strength and softness while ensuring the strength, to avoid the situation where "high strength is pursued at all costs" resulting in a rough feel. 

II. Batch Traceability and Pre-Shipment Verification 

Batch orders are most vulnerable to significant differences between batches. In our production management, we focus on two points: 

Sample retention comparison: Samples are retained for each batch of products, with the production date and batch number marked. During the production of the next batch, the appearance and feel will be compared with the sample from the previous batch to ensure there are no significant changes. 

Pre-delivery inspection: Before each roll or each box of goods is shipped, a sample is randomly selected in proportion to verify that the indicators such as fineness, strength, and elongation are within the normal fluctuation range. 

Color consistency: For colored polypropylene high-strength fibers, samples are taken at regular intervals during the production process for color comparison, thereby reducing the risk of color variations within the same batch.

When purchasing polypropylene high-strength yarn or high-strength polypropylene industrial yarn, it is recommended to follow the steps below for confirmation: 

First, clarify the purpose: is it a webbing, a rope, geotextile or industrial sewing thread? Different purposes place different emphasis on strength, elongation rate and softness. 

Request for recent batches: Require the supplier to provide sample retention or test records for the last two to three batches, to observe the batch stability. 

Final sample trial weaving: Put it into actual production or use, to confirm that there are few broken threads and the tension is stable during the processing.
