In early April, everything comes back to life, and production and construction enter a busy period. In many industrial sewing scenarios such as industrial sewing, bag sewing, fishing, and outdoor equipment manufacturing, a strong and reliable sewing thread is of vital importance. High-strength polypropylene thread is made from polypropylene chips through high-speed stretching and twisting and shaping processes. It has high strength, low density, and chemical corrosion resistance, providing a lasting connection guarantee for various heavy-duty and outdoor applications. 


High strength, with significant advantages in lightweighting. 

The breaking strength of high-strength polypropylene yarn can reach 6-8g/D, which is significantly higher than that of ordinary polypropylene yarn. It can withstand large tension without breaking easily. Meanwhile, the density of polypropylene is only 0.91g/cm³, making it one of the lighter varieties among all common synthetic fibers. Under the same thickness condition, high-strength polypropylene yarn is lighter than polyester yarn and nylon yarn, which is beneficial for controlling the overall weight of the products. This characteristic is particularly practical in large container bags, lifting belts and other products. 


Corrosion-resistant and suitable for humid environments 

Polypropylene has excellent resistance to acids, alkalis and chemical substances. High-strength polypropylene threads maintain high strength when exposed to seawater, fertilizers, pesticides and weak acid-base solutions, and are not prone to degradation or mold. Therefore, it is suitable for use in scenarios such as aquaculture net cages, geotextile sewing, and chemical filter bags where there is high humidity or corrosive conditions. In early April, which coincides with the spring farming season and the preparation for flood control in the fishing industry, this product provides reliable material support for related operations. 


Low extension, stable suture without easy loosening 

The high-strength polypropylene thread has a relatively low elongation rate under force application, usually controlled within the range of 15% to 25%. After sewing, the thread formation is tight and is not likely to loosen due to material creep. This characteristic is particularly important in the bottom sewing of container bags and ton bags - even under long-term heavy loads, the sewing thread can still maintain its size stability, ensuring transportation safety. 


Good wear resistance and long service life 

By optimizing the twisting process and surface treatment, the high-strength polypropylene yarn has a smooth surface and few fuzz. During the sewing process, it is less likely to shed fibers or break when repeatedly rubbed against the sewing machine needle and the fabric. The finished products can withstand stacking, dragging and folding during use, and have good durability. 


The coloring is firm and the markings are clear. 

When adding color masterbatch during the spinning process, various colors of high-strength polypropylene yarn can be directly produced. The colors are uniform, resistant to water washing and sunlight exposure. Different colors can be used to distinguish specifications, purposes or for product identification, facilitating on-site management. 


Using high-strength polypropylene thread means achieving high-strength stitching in a lightweight manner. In early April, it moved between the needle plates, firmly and permanently connecting every seam.
